arman piezas, planchan, empacan

Morning

The silence
the birds chirp
the sun comes up
it is morning
calm water
The people wakes up
It is summer.

Plegaria

In the silence of the sad nights
my heart beats hard
It is a blow, a shout of pain,
The anguish
the memories
of all lived
In those short days
and long days at the same time
a tear on my cheek
a moan of pain
In the silence.
I desire to find peace.

To Celebrate Christmas
(To the poor children of the world)

To celebrate Christmas
in the stores
the rich women buy toys.

Pedro, the shoeshine boy
sees in the windows
the planes, cars, dolls,
and guns brought from the United States
and which he cannot afford.

Rosa,
The enchilada-seller
gave to her three-year-old daughter
a rag doll which she brought from Masaya.

In Maria`s house’
the tots with their whistles make the barrio merry
Poor children celebrate Christmas.

Obs: enchilada is a food make of cornbread.
Masaya is a city in Nicaragua. There is a big market with a lot of toys made of Indians.

A solidarity writing Nr. 1

In which world we´re living
While some enjoy the life,
others are in the middle of bombings and shots.
Many children are crying to side of their mothers body.
Many children are alone in the world
without a home where they can live.
They are suffering, they can´t enjoy the life.
They can´t play with the friends.
The poor people are slaved of the poverty,
They are slave of the injustice.
In which world we´re living
In a world where there is happiness for a few and sufferings for many
The sadness for the people who survive the wars and the disasters.
What I can do? What can you do?
I can´t live with happiness
When the innocent dies
perhaps this is my fight,
to be the voice of them
to write about their suffering
to speak about their sadness.
I don´t want to be in my own world
to far away from their suffering
I want to make their suffering
A part of my life.

Solidarity writing Nr. 2

I can´t avoid that my tears appear in my eyes
when I see the suffering every day
I can´t avoid that my heart suffers
when the sadness is with many families
I can´t be in calm when there are many disasters in the world
when many people die every day
becuase of the hurricanes, fires, wars or the violence.
How I can avoid the suffering of my brothers in the world?
I can´t smile
when the childrens are suffering
When they are looking for theirs parents faces,
When they are alone in the street.

I can´t be happy when the people is suffering.

A Confesion

You have always existed
since the years
when my ancestors lived
They took care of you
you were the most important
They used your resources
they didn’t squander you
You meant life for them
You have given everything
The fruits from your fields
shelter to the animals
You have quietly opened
your arms given us the best of worlds

What are we doing today?
We destroy your rivers,
your trees, your nature
We don´t take care of you
We need your waters, your life
How will it be in some years?
What will happen to the animals?
They will die without protection

When will I take care of you
as my ancestors did?
When will I give you
the best of me that you deserve
to continue to live?
You will always be there,
but the birds will not
sing the same glad song
The children will not play among the trees
The fish will not be able to swim in the waters
The animals and the humans will die
They will not find anything of value
in your waters, gone will
your pure air be, your flowers in the fields,
the animals´leap in the nature
We will not find any happiness
When will I take care of you,
like my ancestors took care of you?
